Kudos to you! I regularly fall asleep when confronted with epic sea, fish, etc passages ;P Then you'll probably love the unabridged version.

But I will wait some time before reading it since I have some other big classics begun and not yet achieved (and so for a looooonng time) and I want to make some progress with my TBR pile... So, I can buy other books

The last book I started was Inferno by Dan Brown. I found the first 80 pages interesting, but I just haven't felt much like reading lately. I guess I'd rather be working out...

I am reading Letters From My Windmill by Alphonse Daudet and Troubles by Jennifer Provins (the last one being a book actually writing by a friend of mine).
And I am also listening to A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens.

I'm reading Wives and Daughters by Elizabeth Gaskell. Audiobooks or podcasts. Also while watching TV, if I'm knitting something easy. I love knitting because I find it very relaxing and it's really nice to be able to wear things I make. Yes, I agree: it is nice to be able to wear things "homemade" But I have always find it hard to make something which is really good... And most of the time, I think I can have something better for a lower price in a shop Nevertheless, last winter, I find this collection : www.katia.com/aprende.php?tipo=ALGO_DIFERENTE&lng=FR . It is easy and the result is great Oh, nice! Do you know ravelry.com? It's a great site, if you're interested in knitting (or crocheting), I found it very helpful and there are a LOT of patterns.

I don't know this site but I will surely check it later For the moment, I really want to knit a scarf for myself, something in lace knitting. I must go to the knitting shop in my little town in order to ask advises for a pattern and for a appropriate kind of wool.

I just started Le Libraire by Régis de Sá Moreira. Actually, I have already read it when I was in High School but I didn't enjoy this book as I should have I think. Therefore, I am giving it another try since I am now more mature

But I still have to start making something.. I also first have to learn how to knit anything other than a square...

I'm also reading Hateship, Friendship, Courtship, Loveship, Marriage by Alice Munro, it's a short stories book. I must go to the knitting shop in my little town in order to ask advises for a pattern and for a appropriate kind of wool. I like Ravelry! I have saved a lot of things from there that I want to make. But I still have to start making something.. I also first have to learn how to knit anything other than a square... I know! I have a 5-6 pages queue on Ravelry! Anyway, it's still way shorter than my TBR list! I started with knitting squares too and then scarves, after I discovered Ravelry in 2010 I went on with hats, mittens and now I'm making a (easy) sweater.

I have just begun Chronicle of a Foretold Death by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I am quite excited about it since it reminds me of my childhood (me being 10 and discovering the pleasure of reading and discussing with my Mum about this book mentioned in a literary magazine for children). Plus, it is a author referred in Gilmore Girls since Jess is reading One Hundred Year of Solitude by the same author when he is leaving Stars Hollow and Rory without saying goodbye at the end of the third season.
