Recently purchased Palo Alto by James Franco. Read it about a year ago, interested to know what someone else thinks of it, so please let me know when you've read it, Whitegold! My younger brother got me an amazon gift certificate for Christmas (he knows me well) and I immediately spent it all on books: - A Story like the Wind by Laurens Van der Post - We Owe You Nothing by Dan Sinker - Sybil by Flora Schreiber - The Birchbark House by Louise Erdrich - Werewolves in Their Youth by Michael Chabon - This is Not About Me by Jane Galloway - The Holy Barbarians by Lawerence Lipton *Happy shiny thing* ;D

Wow, great dad, Ace - buying you The Gilmore Girls Companion! I don't think my dad even knows the Gilmores Books really are awesome gifts Haha thanks. My dad has bought me all my gilmore girls box sets over the years so he knows them quite well. He only knew about the book because I had it on my amazon wish list. I think he's only ever watched it with me once though, but he admitted to finding it funny and liking the Richard character. Lol

Have you already read anything by Shakespeare, Ace? I have read Romeo and Juliet and Measure for Measure, both for papers about Law and Literature. According to one of the Law and Literature scholar, "Shakespeare is the greatest law school" And analyzing Shakespeare's play through the angle of Law and Literature is a way of renewing the literate studies about Shakespeare. So, I really love Shakespeare's play even if it is not an easy reading (as I have noticed while reading it during Summer Holiday )
